Weedsport, NY – July 17, 2010 – By Dave Medler, DIRTcar Racing Northeast Series Correspondent
Dave Marcuccilli took advantage of a front row starting position he earned with a victory during the Cayuga County Fair, grabbing the lead on the opening lap of the Hoosier Tire-VP Racing Fuels Mr DIRTcar Sportsman Series All-Star 30 and never looking back. For the Cayuga, N.Y. driver it was his first ever Series win and third in a row at the Weedsport oval.
“I just can’t believe this, I don’t know what to say,” beamed an excited Marcuccilli after exiting his no. m1 Barbay & Son Construction-Crew Boyz Racing-Stormin/Bicknell machine. “We haven’t changed a thing in this car, all we’ve done is give it a wash and provide some basic maintenance.”

Weedsport, NY – July 16, 2010 – Friday night featured the 2nd Annual All-Star 50 at Cayuga County Fair Speedway and for the second year in a row it was a Phelps speeding into victory lane to collect the $3,000 top prize.
In this year’s return edition, however, it was cousin Jimmy Phelps from Baldwinsville, N.Y. crossing the line first to take top honors in the ‘Super DIRT Week of the Summer’ at the home of DIRTcar Racing Northeast.
